The Affective Research Group (based at MIT) have been developing their camera based software, where it reads your facial expressions to what you are watching.
Their advancement in this field really is outstanding, as they are already showcasing what they can do for advertisers and marketing companies. As you are watching a video, they are capturing your data live, whether its a head tilt, a smile or other facial expressions.
